The Drone Nexus 1 Black Scooter Deck is Drone's new flagship street deck.
Drone has designed every element of this deck to make it one of the lightest but strongest 6.5" wide decks on the market.
The 84-degree headtube and neck have been extruded and then CNC'd and the deck has been designed with a wider base to account for the bigger stresses created by a larger deck plate and heavier street riding. The headtube has been simplified to make sure the welding area in-between the neck and headtube is flat and optimized for strength, and also features weight-reducing fluting and cut-outs externally and internally.
The Nexus deck comes with a steel feather-light brake for added durability and single hex key tightening replaceable aluminium back ends that are deeper set into the extrusion.
The base also has a cut-out and the blunt plate is integrated into the neck of the deck.
