Drone proudly presents the Kai Saunders 'Saundezy' Signature Nexus 1 Stunt Scooter Deck, designed specifically for Kai Saunders with innovative updates that bring a fresh evolution to the Nexus 1. This deck is equipped with a newly refined blunt plate, featuring a subtle crook groove, thickened plate, and curved edges to ensure smooth and precise blunt grinds.
The backend has been upgraded to be compatible with both 8mm and 12 STD setups, incorporating inner grindable spacers that provide an expanded horizontal grinding space for 50-50 grinds. These one-piece spacers allow for easy wheel installation, accommodating 110mm, 120mm, 125mm, 24mm, and 30mm wheels. To optimize grind performance, the I-Beam has been slimmed down to direct grind forces through the backend pegs and grindable inner spacers, rather than the extrusion itself. The left and right backend plugs have also been reinforced with 7075 series aluminium, a material three times stronger than standard 6061 aluminium, making them nearly indestructible.
Additionally, the deck features a lightweight steel fender that is custom-built to Kai’s specifications. The fender’s position can be adjusted to your preferred placement, allowing for further customization. Completing the design is the deck's lightweight extrusion and perforated footplate, which reduces weight while offering excellent grip without the need for a base cutout.
